Why doesn’t God fulfill our requests?

Próby od Boga?

Every servant of the true God wants his prayers to be heard and fulfilled.
Whoever has this can say that he understands the will of God, understands His guidelines, the principles of faith, knows how to pray
and be heard.
God and His helpers want to help us, they want us to be happy, joyful, healthy.
But… we don’t always want it. And when we do, we quickly forget about the principles.
Let’s see what
we need to do to have our prayers heard.
1 – Keep the commandments

Dear friends, if our hearts don’t condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive whatever we ask from Him because we keep His commands and do what is pleasing in His sight. Now this is His command: that we believe in the name of His Son, Yeshu Christ, and love one another as He commanded us. The one who keeps His commands remains in Him, and He in him. And the way we know that He remains in us is from the Spirit He has given us.” – 1 John 3:21-24.

We will recognize each person by what spirit influences them, whether it is a spirit from God or from satan. The spirit from satan deceives. It acts like a fortune teller, it will tell part of the truth, and then lie to us, deceive us and burden us with fiction. Someone can listen to and support various researchers, internet preachers, another supports science, is in love with „mother earth”, with his own divinity. Still others have turned towards religion. They do not examine the Scriptures, they do not examine the truth, they only believe in the message of religion, in its infallibility. And do religions speak of this commandment that we have in the above verse: „that we believe in the name of His Son, Yeshu Christ”?
Notice, Reader, that we are not only to believe in Christ
Himself, in His teachings, but also in the true name. This name is not: jesus. Please check, research this topic – link.

2 – Ask with faith

„Consider it a great joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you experience various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God — who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly — and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord, being double-minded and unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:2-8.

Contrary to appearances, this is a difficult step: to ask with faith, that is, to believe as if it had already happened. We cannot do this by asking in prayers and then not believing, denying or doing the opposite. For example, we ask to be healed from a serious illness. Then we agree to undergo dangerous therapies that cripple and hurt us. Another example: we have to change our lifestyle, lose weight, get rid of addictions. However, we don’t do the work necessary to achieve this, but only complain to God that He does not help us.

3 – You are asking wrong

„If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.” – Psalms 66:18. ‚

„You ask and don’t receive because you ask with the wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.” – James 4:3.

„‘When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‚I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers…” – Zechariah 7:13-14.

4 – Prayer of the righteous

„Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:13-16.

5 – When two agree

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in My name, there Am I with them.” – Matthew 18:18-20.

These verses are about excluding people from the church/congregation/assembly. However, we can also use their message for other topics. They are universal.
What are they talking about?
If two people serving the true God decide something and ask God in prayer, they can receive it.
The condition here is to fulfill the guidelines, principles of faith, commandments that God requires of us. These people asking must be in agreement, so these requests will be really mature, wise. They
should not ask for something that a person can do, that we can do ourselves.
God is not
for running our errands, so if we can do something, let’s do it. Only when we know that we do not have the competence, possibilities, strength, let’s ask God for help.

However, we can always ask for strength, energy, and wisdom to work on ourselves. Where we cannot win, let us ask God for help with strong faith.
Let us remember these words: “
But let him ask in faith without doubting. For the doubter is like the surging sea, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord…
Let us also remember that we can undergo trials. Then, like Job, we are certain that these inconveniences did not result from our mistakes or from third parties. They are a trial that God allows:

„Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation(trial). The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak(powerless).” – Matthew 26:41.

„So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” – Hebrews 13:6.

„Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love Him. When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.” – James 1:12-15.
