Original Sin – Are We Still Living In Sin?

grzech pierworodny

Let’s answer the question: is it because of the decisions of Adam and Eve, the so-called original sin, that we still live in sin?
No matter what we do, we still have sin?
Freed from sin

“For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body ruled by sin might be rendered powerless so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin, since a person who has died is freed from sin.” – Romans 6:6-7.

This idea from the above verse is repeated in many other verses: whoever puts on the new man and continues in it all his life is free from sin.

„And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself just as He is pure. Everyone who commits sin practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He was revealed so that He might take away sins, and there is no sin in Him. Everyone who remains in Him does not sin (264); everyone who sins has not seen Him or known Him.” – 1 John 3:3-6.

“Everyone who has been born of God does not sin (266), because His seed remains in him; he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God.” – 1 John 3:9.

“We know that everyone who has been born of God does not sin (264), but the one who is born of God keeps Him, and the evil one does not touch him.” – 1 John 5:18.

„If we say, “We have fellowship with Him,” and yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth. If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshu His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say, “We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say, “We have not sinned,” we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us” – 1 John 1:6-10.

“If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshu His Son cleanses us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7.

What about these verses?

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God;” – Romans 3:23

The explanation is given in the next verse:

„they are justified freely by His Grace through the redemption that is in Christ Yeshu. God presented Him as the mercy seat by His Blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His restraint God passed over the sins previously committed. God presented Him to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and justify the one who has faith in Yeshu.” – Romans 3:24-26

Another “controversial” example:

“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, in this way death spread to all people, because all sinned. In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law.” – Romans 5:12-13.

This is how the apostle Paul sums up his statement:

“For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so also through the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” – Romans 5:19.

Summary

The sin of Adam and Eve brings specific consequences for every person born on earth.

These are among others:

  • • we live up to 120 years,
    • satan was not annihilated because he has a specific amount of time for his destructive actions, which is expressed in prophecies.
    • because satan continues to work, he is gaining more and more supporters. With their hands he destroys the earth, hides the truth, cultivates lies, blinds the minds of people.
    • all this gives us the consequences of diseases, financial difficulties and many other problems caused by satanists.

We could live in a beautiful paradise without sin, without liars. However, the first people created did not pass the probation period, so this period was extended to thousands of years.
The current world is this period of testing every person. Its duration and individual events are determined by Biblical prophecies. We discover most of the details in the Revelation of John.

The testing period is fast approaching.
Anyone who has been transformed into a new person can receive the honor of eternal life, just as Adam and Eve could have deserved.

This is what the Scripture says:

“If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshu His Son cleanses us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7.

The blood of Christ „cleanses us from all sin.”
If the Scripture
says so, it also means that it cleanses us from the sins committed by the first people. We bear the consequences of their decisions, but everyone is responsible for their decisions, for their lives.
At the judgment we will be held accountable for our sins, while Adam and Eve will be held accountable for theirs.
