Way To The Cross – Part 2

7 – Eating of the Memorial bread:

„For as often as you eat this Bread and drink the Cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.” – 1 Corinthians 11:26.

„And He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “This is My Body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of Me.” – Luke 22:19.

8 – Drinking of the Memorial wine:

“In the same way also He took the cup, after supper, and said, „This cup is the New Covenant in My Blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” – 1 Corinthians 11:25.

9 – Christ appears to women:

„After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to view the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, because an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and approached the tomb. He rolled back the stone and was sitting on it. His appearance was like lightning, and His clothing was as white as snow. The guards were so shaken by fear of Him that they became like dead men. The angel told the women, “Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Yeshu who was crucified. He is not here. For he has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead and indeed He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there.’ Listen, I have told you.” So, departing quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to tell His disciples the news. Just then Yeshu met them and said, “Greetings!” They came up, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him. Then Yeshu told them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to leave for Galilee, and they will see Me there.” – Matthew 28:1-10.

10 – Christ appears to the apostles:

„The eleven disciples traveled to Galilee, to the mountain where Yeshu had directed them. When they saw Him, they worshiped, but some doubted. Yeshu came near and said to them, „All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, immersing them in My Name, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And remember, I Am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:16-20.

11 – This is our task:

„Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy still be filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; let the Holy still be Holy.” “Look, I Am coming soon, and My reward is with Me to repay each person according to his work. I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. “Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.” – Revelation 22:11-14.

12 – Christ will come quickly:

„He who testifies about these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Come, Lord Yeshu! The grace of the Lord Yeshu be with everyone. Amen.” – Revelation 22:20-21.

 Participating in the Memorial of Christ's death, in this most important holiday, is a duty and a huge pride for a Christian.
 To eat bread and drink wine with dignity, several conditions must be met:

„For as often as you eat This Bread and drink The Cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes. So, then, whoever eats The Bread or drinks The Cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sin against the Body and Blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself; in this way let him eat The Bread and drink from The Cup. For whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself.” – 1 Corinthians 11:26-29.

Here are the conditions:
1 – Believe in the true name of Christ:

“Now this is His command: that we believe in the Name of His Son, Yeshu Christ, and love one another as He commanded us.” – 1 John 3:23.

See why the true name of Christ is Yeshu/Yesu.
This name in Greek is – Yesu.

In Hebrew: Yesu and Yeshu. In Hebrew, we have two options for saying this name, because the Hebrew alphabet has two letters to choose from: s or sh.

2 – Be immersed in the true name of Christ:

„While Apollos was in Corinth, Paul traveled through the interior regions and came to Ephesus. He found some disciples and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” “No,” they told him, “We haven’t even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” “Into what then were you immersed?” he asked them. “Into John’s immersion (908),” they replied. Paul said, “John immersed (907) with an immersion (908) of repentance, telling the people that they should believe in the One who would come after him, that is, in Yeshu.” When they heard this, they were immersed (907) into the name of the Lord Yeshu.” – Acts 19:1-5.
